a) Data stored only on your device (never sent to our servers):

Individual flashcard review times and response speeds
Detailed scheduling data for each card
Raw study session events

b) Data collected when you use online features:

Anonymous device identifier (randomly generated, not linked to identity)
Google account name and email (only if you sign in with Google)
Study performance summaries (average scores, streak count)
Deck content you choose to publish
Accounts you follow and decks you clone

c) Data we do NOT collect:

Location data
Contacts
Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID)
Payment information

3 Why We Collect Data

Device identifier: to save your progress as a guest user
Google account: to let you publish content and sync across devices
Performance summaries: to show your analytics on our web platform
Published content: to share with the Aptive community

4 How We Store Data

On-device data: stored in encrypted local SQLite database
Cloud data: stored in Supabase (SOC2 compliant infrastructure)
We do not sell your data to any third party. Ever.

5 Google OAuth

We use Google Sign-In only when you choose to publish content. We access only your name and email address. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service.

6 Data for Minors

If you are under 18, we require parental consent before collecting any personal data beyond the anonymous device identifier. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

7 Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data by emailing tonny.272006@gmail.com. On-device data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

8 Third Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase (database and authentication): supabase.com/privacy
Google OAuth (sign-in): policies.google.com/privacy

9 Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of significant changes through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
